About Us

The ISM Sustainability Council has been active for over eight years. Using systems thinking tools and fresh ideas, the council institutes projects at a whole-school level. 

Our ultimate goal as a school-wide council is to involve our community in sustaining and safeguarding our environment and promote sustainable behavior change. We do this through:

1. Creating projects that promote Sustainable behavior in our community. 

2. Collaborating with existing student organizations to identify and track indicators for each of the compass points. 

3. Providing opportunities among the ISM community to learn about sustainability by running workshops and events. 

4. Reporting on our school’s progress towards sustainability through school media/assemblies.
